National Night Out is Just a Few Weeks Away

Support your local men and women with a night of fun during National Night Out.
Keeping your community safe is one of the most important things you can do. In honor of that, National Night Out is a day when the community comes together and shows that it can stand strong in the face of crime and that a strong community cannot be broken. So if you’re looking for things to do in Lake Mary, FL, National Night Out is just a few weeks away.
Tuesday, August 7th, residents from all over the city will be showing up in front of City Hall, in Central Park, to show their support. The City, Target, and the Parks & Recreation Department have all teamed up to make sure that this is one of the best National Night Outs in Lake Mary’s history.
You’ll learn and meet with the police department so that you can feel safe in your community. They will be doing taser and K-9 demonstrations so you can see how you’re being protected as well as see fire and police equipment. There will even be a women’s self defense class. Of course, some of it is fun too. There will be great foods and games and activities.
